Not even leftists can defend former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.
During their annual New Year’s Eve event, Andy Cohen insulted Bill de Blasio by saying that “the only thing Republicans and Democrats can agree on is that horrible mayor he was.”

Andy Cohen, who appeared on CNN on Friday night for his annual New Year’s Eve celebrations, spoke on behalf of many New Yorkers in a protest against outgoing Mayor Bill de Blasio.
Cohen, who seemed to have lost his voice towards the end of the night and aired with Cooper, said de Blasio’s second term was the “lousiest” ever in town.
‘Watching Mayor de Blasio do his victory lap dance after four lousiest years of New York City Mayor … the only thing Republicans and Democrats can agree on is that horrible mayor was so … dumb sayonara ! ‘
Cohen also grieved over de Blasio’s prom with First Lady Chirlane McCray after the ball fell in Times Square, comparing it to how he felt after shooting.
‘I don’t need to see him in early 2021. Do something with this city! Honestly, put it together! ‘
De Blasio leaves a devastated New York behind.
The Big Apple is poised to strike nearly 500 homicides before the end of 2021, a bleak milestone not seen in a decade.
As of Sunday – and with five days left a year – the NYPD has recorded 479 murders, led by a startling wave of gun violence across the city, data show.
The Big Apple hasn’t recorded more than 500 homicides since 2011, when they numbered 515, according to the data.
In 2012, homicides dropped to 419. In subsequent years, they dropped to 300 every year, except for 2017, when the city recorded 292 homicides.
