New York has followed Minnesota by queuing whites when it comes to life-saving treatments for COVID-19, in the name of fighting racism.
Monoclonal antibodies are made in the laboratory and work by mimicking natural antibodies, which help the body fight disease.
Now the New York Department of Health has released a paper revealing how it will prioritize non-whites when it comes to delivering treatment, in addition to antiviral pills.
The plan states that to receive treatment, a patient must have “a medical condition or other factors that increase the risk of serious illness.”
“One such” risk factor “is being a race or ethnicity that is not white due to” longstanding systemic health and social inequalities, “he reports. Fox News.
“Non-white race or Hispanic / Latino ethnicity should be considered a risk factor, as longstanding systemic health and social inequalities have contributed to an increased risk of serious illness and death from COVID-19,” reads in the memo.
The system is already in place, with the New York Post reporting as “A Staten Island doctor claimed he filled two prescriptions for Paxlovid this week and was asked by the pharmacist to disclose the race of his patients before treatment was authorized.”
According to one analyst, the race-based rationing system violates federal law, which is Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Like us highlighted last month, the Minnesota Department of Health is pursuing a similar policy of discrimination against whites in determining eligibility for mAbs (monoclonal antibodies).
They established a rationing scheme based on a point system that gives non-white patients 2 extra points.
A similar system is also operational in Texas.
Being denied life-saving treatment on the basis of the color of your skin which is white and then dies.
Is this what they mean by “white privilege”?
Whites are denied monoclonal antibodies just because they are white. I never expected this to happen in Texas.
