A healthy 25-year-old doctor in Thailand has died a month after receiving a Pfizer booster shot. Kansuda Wichaisuek, her friends and family also known as “Dr. Po,” received the booster shot on December 7th and became seriously ill ten days later.
Dr. Po, a popular 25-year-old doctor in the Thai city of Ratchaburi, received her booster shot on December 7 and was not suffering from any immediate symptoms. However, ten days later, on December 17, Po began to experience side effects such as a high fever. She underwent a COVID test which came back negative and blood was also drawn which showed no problems.
Her body temperature, which was up to 40 degrees, persisted and she was taken to the hospital on December 23. Po’s symptoms improved after five days and she began rehabilitation at Ratchburi Hospital.
Contrary to doctors’ expectations, she suffered a setback and on January 4th she informed her father of a high fever and a drop in her blood pressure.
Two days later, on January 6, she went into sudden cardiac arrest and was revived multiple times. After a period of unconsciousness, however, she became brain dead and passed away on the afternoon of January 7th.
Suraphon, the father of Dr. Po, was devastated after her death and said:
My daughter had the booster shot, but the doctors are trying not to mention anything related to the vaccination. Before the vaccination she was never sick, but after the vaccination she was always sick.
I was skeptical about the vaccine but I had no evidence to show her why.
