Ghislaine Maxwell will not help prosecutors and will name “names” of other people involved in her ex-lover Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking network for a minor sentence, her brother Ian said.

Maxwell, 60, was found guilty on five of six sex trafficking charges in New York earlier this week.

The former socialite spent more than 500 days in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, though he will likely spend the rest of his life in a federal prison in the United States after his sentence.

His brother, Ian Maxwell, said his sister retains her innocence and plans to appeal her sentence. He said he has no plans to assist prosecutors considering a lesser prison sentence.

Maxwell told the Sunday Times: “Prosecution confirmed that no plea bargaining offers were made or received. I expect that position to be maintained. ‘

Owen wonders if justice will ever truly be done for the victims of the Ghislaine Maxwell case.

However, the Duke of York suffered a significant legal setback in the civil suit after his lawyers failed to dismiss the complaint over a technicality. Her legal team hoped the case would close by arguing that neither Ms. Giuffre nor the prince are American residents and therefore US courts have no jurisdiction.
