President Joe Biden announced to the country that there is “no federal solution” to COVID-19 then boarded a plane headed toward his Delaware home, where he will spend the remainder of the week.

After falsely claiming victory for beating the COVID-19 pandemic earlier this year, Biden has officially declared that there is no federal solution for COVID-19. This is a direct contradiction of his previous promise to “shut down” COVID-19.

Biden barely managed to take presidential office in 2020, declaring the end of COVID-19 as one of his primary campaign promises.

His campaign promises included free access to testing, increasing the number of testing sites, emergency paid leave for anyone that contracts COVID-19 or caring for family members that contract COVID-19.

These promises have not been fulfilled nation-wide.

“This gets solved at state level … and that ultimately gets down to where the rubber meets the road, and that’s where the patient is in need of help — or preventing the need for help,” Biden said during his remarks.

President Biden advised governors across the United States to reach out if they needed assistance managing the virus in their states.

“This is not like March of 2020, the beginning of the pandemic. We’re prepared and we know what it takes to save lives, protect people and keep schools and businesses open,” Biden said.

“My message to the governors is simple. If you need something, say something.”

Although there is no federal solution for COVID-19, Biden’s vaccination mandate was reinstated in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and is expected to be appealed to the Supreme Court.

Following his remarks, President Biden departed the White House for his beach house in Delaware.
